Hey all, so after a very long time out of a full time job (been doing part time jobs) I got a offer for a full time job. While I’m excited, my anxiety slowly comes in with self doubt. Any advice for my new job? Also how do you navigate the workplace with anxiety and/or depression?

Congratulations on your new full time job. You got this! Just remember that everyone has battles in life. Just try to go with the flow, with coworkers, don't have to tell them of your anxiety or depression, just focus on your job, learn about it and before you know, if it's the right place for you

Congratulations! Give yourself permission to feel like a newbie for at least the first 6 months. The best part about being new and in training is that they fully expect you to make m mistakes. And it's okay! Walk in with a beginner's mindset, advocate for what you need to learn and be successful there, and make friends. Like outside the office, in the beginning is the best and don't wait for others to ask you for coffee. Tell them you're new and would hang out for coffee or a lunch break to to get to know the team. The worse that can happen is they say no, and this definitely okay, because you can't take it personally since they don't know you yet and might just have things going on. But feeling like you belong there will make you more comfortable and confident in how you perform. As a hiring manager, you didn't fool anyone into hiring you...you are already what they want :)
