Gabapentin for Anxiety: Experiences?

does anyone else take gabapentin for anxiety? I was originally prescribed it for my seizures that I have and she told me it would help me with my anxiety and frequent headaches... just wondering how it makes everyone feel in their own experiences with taking it

      It helps me a little but I have borderline personality disorder as well so sometimes my meds just dont work. But when they do the gabapentin is great. I would discuss dosage with your doctor though, I was told when it was prescribed that in order for it to help anxiety it had to be a higher dose. Like I said that's just what I was told, but I was also a little questioning of the source so I would definitely talk to your provider.

      Yes. For mood and even physical pain but not sure if it works anymore.

        @ChristineD I felt ok within the first few minutes of taking mine yesterday as it was my first time taking it but then when I went to bed it felt off like when you rub your eyes too hard and you see the star things? I didn't even touch my face and that's what it felt like
