Does anyone have tips on organizing all the things you take with you when you leave the house or for appointments? I've been using a backpack but I can't seem to get it functional šŸ¤”šŸ˜ž

I want to start getting more organized with paperwork, and since Iā€™m an 80s/90s kid, Iā€™m getting an old-school Trapper Keeper. Walmart & Amazon have them for less than $15, and theyā€™re just fun.

I used to use a plain folder for years but it fell apart. Now I use a 1 (or 1.5 canā€™t remember) inch binder with a fabric binder cover I made that has pockets on the inside for pens and cds and folded papers. I organized all of my important files by type of -ology. I also have a printout I always bring that has my diagnoses, past surgeries, allergies, meds, and list of doctors with their numbers. It fits in my backpack or itā€™s not too bad to carry around- itā€™s fabric so it kind of feels like carrying around a pillow lol

I have a diaper bag (backpack) which has a billion pockets so I can bring everything I need. Itā€™s also big enough to hold both my feeding and IV pump. I have my meds and med list in one of the many pockets as well as a tag on the bag saying I have meds/devices inside. I donā€™t bring my papers with me anymore (my doctors and medical history are well established) Most of my records are online so I can use my phone to look it up while at an appointment but if I have to bring something specific I have a binder that holds all my physical records.

Papers go in the orange folder, which then goes into my bag with my keys, wallet, meds ect. Itā€™s not perfect, but this helps me a lot.
