I can't have a job due to my eye flutters. I can't drive either because I don't stay seizure free no longer than a year, when I'm supposed to stay seizure free for 7 years. how can I stay seizure free with all the stress I'm going through?

the last seizure i had was march 2nd and it was stress from my boyfriend’s mom that triggered the seizure. it didn’t happen during that moment but it happened later that night or the next morning and all i remember is my boyfriend repeatedly saying “baby??” trying to get me to wake up and i couldn’t. when i did wake up he wouldn’t leave my side and he took care of me all morning that he called out of work 🥺 i’ve been seizure free since 2015-2016 without any medication, but i’ve recently had to get back on my medication since november.. i’ve had epilepsy since i was a baby

Virginia. I have eye flutters (looks like I'm rolling my eyes all the time) every day til one day they get so bad and I wind up having a seizure. They last for 30 seconds most of the time. But I feel drained afterwards.

Where do you live that requires you to be seizure free for 7 years?! That seems almost impossible. I try to do feeling breathing & listening to mediation music when I get over stressed & I think it’ll cause a seizure. Also, I try to get good, long sleep & rest periods scheduled into my day. Plus, I see a psychiatrist for anxiety, sleep, etc. if I can keep ahead of it when I know I’m going to be at my weakest I try to do these things.
