Welp, my physical activity attempts resulted in a pretty sharp flare up today. I pushed myself a little too hard and I’m handling the consequences. Anyone else have a hard time not ruminating on your frustrations when having a forced recovery day? I’m proud of myself for pushing myself to work out, but learning where my limits are is a painful experience!! Just needed to unload this somewhere I’d be understood and validated.

I completely understand! I’m on year 16 of this condition, and it’s still constant learning. It stinks to have to try and plan everything…knowing when it’s worth it to you to push hard for something and know that you may have to plan a recovery day (or more) and having the will power or wisdom to say know to things you really want to do because you know it’ll probably send you in a flare you don’t have time for. It’s frustrating and so hard not to beat yourself up. Working out is extremely difficult to know where to draw the line. Give yourself some grace! You aren’t alone!

I've been forced to be bedridden for the better part of 10 years because of several illnesses. EVERYDAY is hard. You'd think it'd get easier but nope. Every single day is such an emotional roller-coaster to just sit here and basically do nothing while the world moves on. I am so sorry you are experiencing those feelings.
