Feeling Manipulated and Abused During Our Move

we are moving from texas back to kansas tomorrow. my mother in law was completely hysterical when we told her we were leaving and my in laws refused to fix the car until we agreed to stay a couple days. well the only person who can save us if we get stuck on the highway is my aunt and she is only off tomorrow so that's when we have to go. but we havent told my in laws yet because if we do the car will never get fixed and we will never leave. I feel like I'm being manipulated and abused all over again. my husband is trying so hard to get us out of here but if we make one wrong move everything blows up and we are screwed. any advice anyone???
