Hmm, I feel like I struggle with this as well. I’ll drop whatever I’m doing to go help someone who needs it but can’t ever seem to help myself. I’m trying to learn more about myself to hopefully become more accepting of who I am. It’s not an easy task and it takes time but I’m hoping it helps. Maybe it’s a love language thing, being a helper, but for whatever reason other people don’t naturally help others so we end up expending ourselves and no one else reciprocates…idk, just a thought? Might be me just trying to rationalize…I think I’m rambling so…anyway, hope this was helpful. 💕

@Shandel I agree completely. I always give other people advice on this and other things, but when I try to tell myself the same thing, I can never come to believe it. I think so low of myself and it disappoints other people, but the problem is I truly believe it.
