I pick my hands, fingers, and heels. I've found that being on my phone or reading a book helps distract me

if i have my nails done with acrylic its suuuuper difficult to chew at the skin around the nails so if you have funds to keep them done... it helps or even do it for temporary relief... theyre really hard to rip off so you have time to heal up your fingers

Ohh I see :( hmm. You could try getting those cheap little press ons but put some good nail glue on so they’ll last longer? I’m not sure

I pick at my scalp and have been for quite a while, I’ve also tried just about everything. There’s one idea that I have though; acrylic nails. I don’t know if they’d work for everybody, but for me I wouldn’t be able to pick at my skin well enough to get that weird enjoyment with longer acrylic nails. Your sort of lose that control to really do a good job at picking, see where I’m going? I’ve never tried it, but I’m going to try acrylic nails to see if it helps. Personally, I think it’ll be incredibly helpful for me. Maybe you could consider it too, idk. Picking is so hard to stop doing, I wish you luck in finding something
