I make checklists. I even include tasks like “look out the window” just so I have more things to check off between laundry and cleaning lol. It makes me feel more motivated and accomplished. I also FaceTime people! When it gets bad my best friend sits and does homework on FaceTime while I clean. When we are finished we show each other all we accomplished!

I've started setting one very specific goal for the day. The trick is making sure it's obtainable with what your body can do that day and specific enough that you'll feel accomplished doing it. For example, two of my recurring ones are "before I leave for work at 4pm, I want to wash and put away all of my socks, underwear, and work clothes" or "I want to have everything that's on my desk put away before bedtime".

remember to take breaks to do something you're interested in as well, not just a break from cleaning to do homework. if there is a music video you want to watch, or you're hungry, take 15-30 minute breaks to do what you enjoy so you don't get burnt out, that makes it easier for you to want to get through the task.

Remember discipline leads to habits—so wake up early and it will slowly become routine.

Feeling overwhelmed is common. It makes it so much harder to start. The best way to conquer this is to start small. Doing at least one task will make you feel accomplished, causing you to want to do more. Pick one section in your room and clean it. Slowly, doing this everyday consistently, you should see change. With your assignments, also do at least one a day. Make it a goal by writing it down. You can also set yourself restrictions to not go on your phone or do a leisure activity until you complete your task. I suffer from the same problem, I am super overwhelmed by everything in life right now, but I’m trying to take it slow. Just think—in one year, will you be proud of yourself or regret? Time heals everything, just make sure to make the most out of it. ❤️
