Dealing with Grief During the Holidays

Lost my mother 10 years go. No one really understands until they feel the loss themselves. Have patience with your partner. Give yourself time to heal. It will never be the same, but next year will get a little easier.

It’s so hard when our partners don’t fully understand! I think it’s important to remember that while they can’t fully under what it’s like to walk our road, there is a hope that they will try. I hope you are able to feel supported here and by others you may know. I’m so sorry this holiday season was hard. It’s no fun when things change.
