ik this may sound stupid but I get gender envy from almost any non existent character for example I've started watching south park and I've seen loads of like fan art of the characters especially kenny and its gotten to the point where I'm getting gender envy of the way people make the characters look. which is now causing body dysphoria for me. I just want to curl up in a ball cry. I wish I looked more masculine I wish I had a flat chest and shit. I fucking hate it. I'm gonna try and start excersing to try and loose some weight I highly doubt it will last long though as I give up stuff alot.

I hate my body and I have for ages my body dysmorphia isn't usually bad but it's gotten worse as my mum constantly brings up how big I am. Also constantly being called female by people who either don't know or who do know but can't be bothered makes it worse. So seeing people who look really masculine or people who are male/ masculine makes me jealous cause I want to look like that but no matter how I hard I try ik I'll probably never look masculine or even remotely masculine which also worsens the dysphoria. I hope that makes sense aswell I'm not great at saying how I feel it usually doesn't make any sense. Also hope that answered stuff

Like specifically from cartoon characters? Is it you want to be there gender or you want to be a cartoon? As that sounds like a very different thing if it’s specifically for characters that don’t exist

@Igglepiggle it's not just cartoon its real people aswell. And I want to be their gender
@fedex okay that makes more sense, is it purely visually u hate ur body and want theirs or is it personality too? As I’ve never experienced any kind of gender issues personally so I can’t really get it I guess, I consider myself pretty standard straight woman and comfortable in that I love being feminine I feel beautiful and powerful in that, can’t imagine what gender dysmorphia feels like, but I get the frustration of feeling like I can’t be funny because people only seem to appreciate men’s jokes not women and that really frustrates me, and I do get really insecure of my body, I have a very big chest and despise it like it’s uncomfortable and ruins my shape, sometimes I feel like a cow because of it lol and I get insecure of my weight and things but I wouldn’t want to change genders a feel like a woman within my core like my child self was very girly and now I’m learning to balance being feminine and also not just falling into categories being my own individual too, just trying to gain some perspective on what it’s like to have gender dysmorphia and envy etc
@fedex If that makes sense
I can't imagine how hard that is. I hope you are doing OK and I'm here if you wanna talk
