So I went to the Dr yesterday. not a huge deal to most people. but for me it was a HUGE step. I haven't been to a doctor in well over a decade! bloodwork next week and another Dr visit in 2 weeks. with that being said, my visit consisted of me crying like an idiot doing the evaluation for depression and anxiety- landing me with meds twice a day to try to get a better handle on everything. not sure yet if I'm going to take the meds. but I am trying to be better for myself and my family. just wanted tonput that put there since it was a huge step for me.

Yea, it's fine, yea I cry a lotttttt (usually from being in areas with a lot of people), had to go to court for a traffic ticket, super mundane really, but I ended up having a little panic attack n was just sitting in my seat crying. But yknow what? It happens, that is just part of my anxiety. I used to just avoid events like this all together but I know now it passes. Yea, I had someone next to me kindly ask if I was okay and I just matter of factly said "yea I have a panic disorder, it will pass" and it did eventually. I happen to take meds and it is different for everyone. I see them like medical devices, some are temporary, some people may need a cane or brace for the rest of their life, some may need it now, then not, then back again. It can help you control the most severe symptoms so you can function again. Anyways, I hope you feel better soon.

I'm proud of you!! Meds are a great resource, they're just there to help. I'm a better person with them!!
