What does she say?
@Lin92 well today she said I need to start buying sugar free oatmeal because I'm gaining weight. which I guess seems like a small thing but I know the hidden message there is "you're disgusting and need to be better"
@AriEden that's not small at all if it's bothering you as much as it does. I would just set that boundary of not commenting on your weight. It's not fair to you. I'm sorry she does that to you.

@Lin92 My mother gets jealous when I lose weight. She spent my whole life making me think I was bigger than I was, giving me body dismorphia til I finally got bigger than her. I'm finally losing weight, and she acts like it's a bad thing or something. You should be open and calm with her, "when you talk to me like that it hurts me. I struggle with my weight, and your comments make it harder. Please keep your comments to yourself." Or whatever. worse case she don't understand, and you can't take it personally as hard as that is. It's disgusting when people who are supposed to love you treat you like that, but you have to set boundaries for yourself.
