I am in the same situation as you. I have had the most success with setting small goals each day, like clean off the table or wash the bedding. But I feel bad about myself I can't get it all done like I feel I should. And then of course as things keep piling up, it becomes overwhelming. But most days I keep trying. Hope you do too.
My plan is to do five dishes a day. It's important to me to just force myself to do 5 of them. If I get more done, great, if not...then I'm still winning with my five. Also, hiring a cleaning person every now and then is totally worth it to me.
I feel the same way a lot of the times. 😥 I feel so lazy and like I suck because I get behind due to my lack of motivation. I hope it gets better for you.
