Do You Experience Psychotic Symptoms with cPTSD?

Yes!! I find it strange we've had very opposite experiences so far though! TW.... .... ... ... .. .. . . When the abuse was happening as a kid, I'd hallucinate this little girl made out of what seemed to be pure light to me. She'd slip into my body to take whatever was happening at the time, because somehow I understood it wouldn't hurt her like it would me. She didn't seem human in that way, but made out of just.. pure love or something. I perceived her as my guardian angel of sorts. I still will see her when I'm under some type of duress, though sometimes it can be for something as little as the anxiety of being around others. I've begun to link her with my absence seizures, though obviously I wouldn't know it for years. It took others reporting to me when I would go into a petit Mal and my recollection of seeing her out of nowhere to realize this though. I think, after 40 years of trying to figure it out, "she" is some broken off piece of my psyche or something? I suppose? I'm so sorry yours seem distressing to you, though I can appreciate you finding an expression of art to work through it.
