Alternative Treatments for Hoshimotos: Seeking Advice

I stopped consuming Dairy products and it made a big difference for me! It improved my GI problems but also I feel I have more energy now. I also try to eat less sugar and gluten but it is way much harder for me🙃

Hi Meg, for me changing my diet was really helpful. I’m now on sugar and gluten-free diet and taking vitamin B12. I feel less tired and more energetic although I know that adding exercises would make it even better

I try to eat less sugar and gluten. Also I take selenium supplement in addition to the Levothyroxine I take.

Not exactly alternative treatment but I do try to eat healthy, exercise regularly and take my supplements: Vitamin B, zinc, iodine, selenium and Vitamin D

Watching diet using the “healthy plate” model, exercise, and getting plenty of sleep.
