Hey! Yes, for a long time. At first it was good but I needed a change I think due to hormones. I recommend starting on a small dosage and working up very gradually. Good luck!

Zoloft didn’t work for me. Everything started to feel hazy and I broke out all over my back and shoulders and I never had pimples their before. I felt numb; as if I wasn’t in my body anymore. When I had got off the medication the withdraws were horrible I was crying a lot and felt nauseous. That was my experience but everyone works differently. I have talked to two different people who are currently on Zoloft and it works great for them. Side note, I’m allergic to a lot of things and meditations usually don’t work good on me like everyone else so maybe you’ll have positive results when using Zoloft.

For me it helped my anxiety, but otherwise kind of made me a zombie. Also I've been off it for 3 years and I still don't have a sex drive again 🙄

It didn't help at all with my anxiety. It didn't help my depression, but made me Emotionally numb for months. I can handle having depression, and it helped more with depression, than with my anxiety. (I need more help with the anxiety... I was on it for like 6 months. Since it wasn't helping my anxiety, I chose to come off of it. [I can numb myself without medication, if I need to.] I don't need a medication to do that.) [Taking Zoloft made me nervous to go on any another medication for anxiety, in fear, that it would numb my emotions or wouldn't work.]

Zoloft has worked for me and also people in my family, so I can see the dna playing a role here. I have bad depression with mild anxiety and it helped with both. It might’ve actually hampered my energy a bit, and dampened my emotions. But it was great for getting me out of my lowest point. It really evened out my low points more than dampening my happiness. And it gave me more motivation. It’s expected to have plenty of differing opinions. But I believe the most popular meds like Sertraline are a good bet to start with. Don’t get discouraged if you need to try several, it’s just how this field works. It takes 6-8 to have full effect, so don’t give up on positive effects before then. Focus on side effects when first starting. You can change dose or med if it’s not tolerable, or wait it out to see if they will subside. Best of luck to you

It didn't really work for me, but it's usually a starting point for anxiety/depression. Just keep in mind that everyone responds differently to psych meds :)
