How to Find a Specialist?

I found mine by accident. She is a trauma specialist, but also has like a "sub specialty" in DID. I've heard it's hard to find a specialist, but my specilaist says to look for a trauma specilaist because if they are well informed about trauma, then they will understand how DID works. And if they don't personally, they will likely have connections that do. Hope that helps. :)

I've tried a few psychiatrists until I clicked with one that got along with all my parts.. I'm not sure there are many DID-focused specialists.. Good luck and keep us posted!
