I got diagnosed in 2019 and had a total thyroid ectomy in December of the same year. I didn't really have a reaction, it was kind of just another day for me. I have 2 rare genetic disorders so I'm used to bad news ig. I told my friends and they cried but I don't understand. it's the nicest I guess you could say of all the cancers so I don't understand. I know it's rude to say on here with others with this condition but I really need help trying to grasp the fear of it. can anyone explain it if their comfortable?
