Sometimes I feel like I'm going to fail at life because I struggle at focusing and I have a problem with impulse control. I take medication for it and it helped, but it only does so much.

i feel like with whatever progress ADHDers make with focus/impulse, it's never fast enough for our liking just because our brains are going so fast all the time. very easy to diminish our accomplishments and feel like we've achieved nothing. that's why i feel like therapy and learning coping skills has been just as important to me as medication. have you tried professional therapy before?
