Would going to the gym help regulate my T1D? Or would it put it further out of wack?

Well it all depends on bloodsugar. If it is high alot then probably

Exercise is good, but can take some careful attention so you don't bottom out. If you have a CGM, check it often, especially for the first while. If you don't, I do recommend one, but still check your levels often. It's just so much easier with a CGM. You may find you need to adjust the insulin you take or what/when you eat when the gym is a plan. I am getting into whitewater and lake boating, which means lots of activity. I take juice and my scanner with me every time.
