Was in hospital again last night from unbearable pain and they’ve given me stronger painkillers but they don’t seem to do anything short term it’s more of a building up thing and there’s nothing much else they can give me, does anyone know how to cope with the pain of pericarditis flare ups? It feels like I’m having a heart attack none stop for days, sometimes I can’t breathe and it’s really ruining my sleep and eating. I’ve been staying as calm as I can but nothing has helped, how do you cope with this? I’m not a crier but I burst into tears when the attack hit me.
