What sorts of medications or vitamins seem to be the most effective? I know everyone is different, but I’d love to hear your thoughts anyway. I’m brand-new to this app and cannot wait to reap the benefits of a relatable audience to chat with about my conditions.

I just started Metformin, but haven’t noticed much of a difference (prob doesn’t help that I don’t eat regularly). But recently I’ve seen/heard a lot about Ovasitol, so I might ask my endocrinologist about it when I see her next.

I take birth control pills (Nextstellis) which made my periods more regular. It also helped reduce my excess hair

I recently started both Celebrex 200mg (anti inflammatory) and switched to Cymbalta 60mg (anti depressant), and I have seen an incredible difference in my pain!! I was really skeptical since Celebrex is basically a more intense ibuprofen, but it’s been genuinely amazing. I had a laparoscopy in April of this year to search for endometriosis and remove cysts, but even after that I didn’t see a difference in my pain until I started these medications. I’ve been telling everyone who will listen about this change 😅 also - the cymbalta isn’t entirely necessary if you don’t have depression! Cymbalta has just shown to help with chronic pain as well as being a quality anti depressant, so it’s great for those with depression AND chronic pain! 🤗
