Prozac was my first medication I was ever put on for depression + anxiety. It worked at first but it had to be upped a couple times. Eventually it stopped working for me but everyone is different! I also had no side effects which was good overall I would recommend it!

I was put on Prozac for anxiety and it made me depressed. I wasn’t the same person. I switched to paxil and was so much better.

Prozac is working for my girlfriend and it works for someone I know, however when I was put on it is when we found out I'm bipolar. Good luck! I hope all works out.

I am on prozac and it really helps me a lot, but that is because I am also medicated for bipolar

Interesting. I'm curious to see if maybe it would help me now that my bipolar is being treated. Although I'm on a blood pressure medicine that helps the uppers and a stimulant that helps the downers and a mood stabilizer to keep it even.
