I always need to remind myself that doing my best is the best I can do. I’ve always been told to push through and challenge yourself and “people don’t care about what you did to get here, they only care about if you crossed the finish line”. How do I convince myself that my best is acceptable, and how do I find the line dictating if my best is acceptable or not?

Always remember that outside opinions do not matter. Move through your life at your own pace and whenever you feel like it’s time to challenge yourself then do so. You’re not on anyone’s time but your own.

No matter what your best is going to be your best. Regardless of the outcome. When it comes to success or failure though I firmly believe there is always something that can be learned in all situations. Even if you aren't happy with your best you can still dissect the situation to learn from possible mistakes and grow from there. Your best is always acceptable. Treat your mind like you would your body. There is only so much you can push your body before you risk pulling a muscle or damaging yourself. This is the same for the mind and we can often push ourselves too far. Practicing breaks and knowing when to stop is always a good skill to have.
