Hello, what's the best way to make friends if you can't find it in you to socialize in a public manner?

@lazydaisy I try to get into hobbies but I'm stuck with a massive addiction that I feel that makes me loose interest in trying anything new.

yeah, I try but I feel like I embarrass because I act like someone I'm not. I act like a tard, not to use that meaning but I do when I'm around people, especially at work. It's like me showing that I'm just special in a way just makes me feel more comfortable.

Clubs or hobbies. Go alone and youll naturally meet people. Apps like bumble help too

@lazydaisy but I'm not mental like that. It just comes and goes. Just being a tard seems more fitting for me. I've mainly spent my school days in focus class rooms.

Is there any way for you to get more comfortable being in public situations? Otherwise, I'd recommend social apps & joining online communities.

@hiyabuddy not that I've recognized. I don't know how to approach someone with out me over analyzing how a conversation is going or me thinking that I'm worth that persons time. I don't really know any social apps, never had a reason to just because I didn't have friends.

I have a similar problem with people. I'm not sure how to push myself out of my comfort zone and find new like minded people to spend time with.
