its painful it changes the way you hold things, I try not to text too much because it hurts. I'm always like moving my hands and cracking them cause of it. I'd really rather not get surgery for it
I've been dealing with my CTS for over 7 years now. Like sparkly angel said, it hurts to do anything with my hands. I also prefer to not have surgery, but I've tried all the non invasive treatments, exercises, wrist braces for sleeping, and including steroid injections and my symptoms seem to only be getting worse as time goes on. At this point I might have to go the surgical route afterall.
yes for the first couple days because you have to have a special that the surgeon should give you when you have surgery. You have to keep you wrist above your heart for the first couple days so you don't get a blood clot. Also you will have exercises to do after surgery because you will be numb the first couple days after surgery. If you have any other questions just ask.
