I just got diagnosed with atypical anorexia back in late july-beginning of august. i was wondering what’s a good start to get on the road to recovery? ❤️ can’t wait to start on the road to my self - healing journey 🤗

I know this is an old post and I hope you’re okay. I’ve been dealing with atypical anorexia since 1997. The only advice I can give you is take it one day at a time and don’t beat yourself up when you slip up. Good and bad days happen. As was said above set small goals and also reward yourself with non-food things when you accomplish your goals. That’s what helps me the most.

Got diagnosed with the same kind as you in August! What's been the most helpful has been just setting really small goals and going from there - one meal a day or something like that, depending on how severe it's gotten. Some days it's way harder than others, but that's alright... still scary though. Just trying not to overthink it is... helpful!
