Dealing with Emotional Overload and Social Obligations

i was having an okay day until i went to a family friend's wedding. i havent slept in almost a day and everyone was talking all at once. it was so overwhelming. when i told my mom i wanted to leave, she mocked me. she said i was being a brat and just left me there. i tried not to snap at her. but in reality, i wanted to yell at her until my voice went out. i wanted to scream until her ears bleed. i want her to know just how much she pisses me off and how she mixes my emotions around. i lash out because my mother does not know how to listen. its almost like shes deaf. how can you not hear your own kid?
