I let myself be manic, but I also let myself be aware of my behaviors. I tend to go on impulsive decisions and don’t think, just do, especially with shopping. Stopping and taking the time to think things through and what I’m about to do stops me from indulging in self destructive behaviors. Sometimes I have to force myself to stop and think vs just going and doing. It gets hard to manage at times, but being aware really helps.
