Anyone else not like loops? ************* Unpopular opinion alert: I don’t like loop earplugs. I got some because everyone I heard get them loved them and they have really good ratings, but I find them uncomfortable. I am pretty sensitive to having things in my ears and immediately knew the silicone was a no. (Rubber in my ears for extended period of time will often make them bleed). I used the foam and found it really stiff. There’s hard plastic not too far down. It blocks out some sound, but not a ton and feels like I shoved a small plastic ball in my ear. I honestly find cheap foam earbuds more comfortable and effective. I do have enough internalized ableism that I’ll still use them in public bc they are more discreet, but am I alone in not liking loops?
