Dealing with Painful Vaccine Shots: My Experience

TW: Vaccine (rabies), pain, etc So I got the rabies stuff done today as a precaution from the cat attack. It was absolutely horrible. They have to do the immune globulin for me since I’m allergic to the actual vaccine. They had to give it under every single bite mark,WHICH INCLUDED MY THUMBS! 😭😭 then the rest went into each arm like a regular shot. I’m feeling better now but I’ve dealt with a lot of painful things and this was beyond. How do y’all handle situations that trigger so many issues??
