Ladies, does anyone else suffer with feeling like a failure cause you aren't constantly in the mood, and don't know how to describe why you aren't? I always feel like I'm a failure cause I can go weeks without sex or intercourse and be okay, that started when I started my levothyroxin again! my doctors don't care and just blame it on my levels not being right.....but I used to want sex all the time when my levels were completely off and had no issues. can anyone help me!

I feel the exact same way ! I have zero sex drive ! I'm on levothyroxine as well I use to be on synthryoid whitch I felt better on ! But my levels sky rocket to 19.6 !!! And my Dr switched me to levo and I've been on it for maybe 2 years now ? It may be " normalizing " my levels but I feel like it's messing with everything else !!!! I also have bad anxiety and depression and been stuck Ina funk for almost 5 days now so not sure what it's from š

I can relate. But Iām not sure if itās due to my levothyroxine bc Iāve been on it pretty much my whole life. For me I think my libido is more influenced by my depression, which is also influenced by my diabetes and hypothyroidism for sure so itās hard to say. But yeah I feel like my s/o could have sex all the time but im good with a couple times a week. And at times Iāve not been in the mood for months. When I was younger I was def hornier but that probably just due to raging hormones lol
Yes! I definitely feel bad. Im not sure how to feel the same as before. Iām still struggling with it. š
@NiqueMK I don't either, I used to have tons of energy even after being diagnosed but not taking the meds, and now I feel like a zombie failure.
@Amanda1993 youāre definitely not a failure. Your body is just not how it used to be. I had more energy as well and felt a little more normal I suppose but I guess as the everything progressed it cause more symptoms. Maybe tell your doc and see if they can adjust your meds. I just started taking supplements. So I donāt feel any changes yet.
