anyone else tired of having lab results come back "normal" even though your symptoms aren't? I still don't have a diagnosis, just more referrals.

      Every test comes up normal or inconclusive it’s so frustrating cause it makes it feel like my pain isn’t real.

      There is probably something wrong, but also this may be a bit of a "check engine" light. Ofc, sleep, nutrition and activity can't fix everything. But it's helpful to check in, because sometimes bodies are assholes that don't make it obvious that we're burned out, in toxic relationships, etc

        @blue_hearted_rose yeah that makes sense:) I've definitely been trying to listen to my body more and that's helped a bit, but most of my symptoms have been going on for years if not my whole life so I'm mostly looking for answers as to why, ig. :)

        @Purple_goldfish it's super frustrating and invalidating especially when others are happy with the normal results (I had a nurse call me and tell me she had "good news" but it was just normal lab results) but your pain is valid, even if the tests don't show it

      Yes ): I had bounced around 4 specialities (if you count PCP too) with multiple labs. Finally when I got into rheumatology they actually checked the effusion/swelling and ran the correct tests. It’s such a frustrating journey until that point though, keep bugging them for answers.

        @fleurdemeraude yeah me too. I've been around to probably 5 doctors who all can't figure it out (I'm fairly certain I have eds) and am finally going to a geneticist to hopefully get a diagnosis. It's so frustrating.
