Struggling to Get Diagnosed with EDS

I'm trying to get diagnosed with eds. most doctors don't listen to me. my pediatrician dismissed all of my pains growing up as "growing pains" or just "normal period pain". my now gp listened but was hesitant to say I might have it. she ran a ton of labs and found nothing. then gave me a referral. I got a referral to a doctor who said I "almost certainly don't have eds". they ran a ton of other labs (like a ton). they yet again found nothing. after waiting months for referrals, appointments, and unhelpful lab results, the doctor said "yeah we think you have eds" and is now giving me a referral to get tested. I don't understand why doctors don't just listen. I mean, I know I'm not a medical professional and I don't know everything. but I wish they would listen.

I started carrying the EDS diagnostic checklist with me to every appointment to prove which Doctors actually knew what they were talking about. Those that didn’t pass didn’t get my business.
