Finding Self-Awareness and Self-Love: A Journey

I wish there was an app like this when I was at my lowest! The support I've seen on this app so far is beautiful. I use to be in and out of relationships looking for validation. I hated my body, my mind, and everything about my life. Peace and happiness seemed impossible. Like it was another life. I've had my fair share of therapist. They all meant well but I just wasn't ready to receive what they were trying to plant. It took me a while to find the self awareness that meant I wasn't blaming other people for the chaos that was my life. The last 2 years have come with a lot of spiritual awakens. They have pushed me to understand myself on a deeper level. Openness takes time. Self love takes even more time. This is just a reminder that life is journey not a destination. If you find yourself taking 10 steps forward and then 10 steps back, that is okay. Life wouldn't make sense if there wasn't a balance.
