it's been a long, long road... kind of just trying this app out for kicks. seeing what it's about. not sure what to look forward to. i've been pretty sick recently, which hasn't really helped with my depression knocking at the door again. i feel defeated and helpless. trapped. lonely.

      Hey SL, I know that it's really bad right now, and I hope that it gets better for you, no matter who you are, you deserve happiness, and after you get well, focus on yourself, don't let others push you around!       I like use the analogy of the boxer 🥊 when I’m feeling defeated. Life is a fight and the ring is your world. If you go down during the fight, get up and keep fighting! You got WAY more to give and you are stronger than you think, sometimes we forget that or just don’t know it yet!

        @StrangeLoveDr thank you... ♡ i wish i could convince myself of that. the only thoughts i get nowadays are that i'm not enough, that i'm going to fail, that i'm not worth it. it hurts.

          @SourLemons take your time and have patiences for yourself 😊. It’s long journey of self-reflection, took me nearly 5 years to realize that. One thing that helped me get out of my slump was my pride during a visit from distant relatives. It made me realize there were stressors in my life that could actually motivate me to feel better. It forced me to find solutions to my problems, to think outside the box. For example, I sometimes watch videos of people doing unjust things (in turn making me feel angry) but rather than lingering on negativity I turn that energy into something positive like doing chores, working out, etc. Deeply self-reflect on your self, motivations, desires, wants, dislikes and see if you can find something that could spark ⚡️ your “🔥”

      Hang in there, I’ve been through this recently with added environmental stress and no answers. Hang in there and feel free to ask anything, it’s how we help each other that matters these days, lord knows I’ve lost all hope in doctors ever understanding or even pretending to care. Keep strong

        @Coty thank you... i've just been so fearful because it feels like nothing's been helping me emotionally heal. i don't know what to look to as my anchor anymore.

          @SourLemons trust me, it never gets easier, but there are tools to use against grief and pain, and anxiety……I have had the absolute worst time these past 5 years and I continue to struggle. I hold hope with fellow individuals who suffer the same as I do to help one another feel more at peace and to feel the weight lifted even if just for the day. It’s hard I know, but if you have hope and the will, you will make it through this. Feel free to write me and share any feelings or anxieties. Stay well
