Lyrica tends to help me the most woth my burning skin. But before I had that I would get completely naked and lay on a plush blanket. Sounds weird but it was all my skin could handle. I would have to shake it out every so often to make sure there were no crumbs or anything small that would scratch me at all. Aloe gel can help a little too if you can handle she stickiness. Thought I wouldn't recommend if you wanted to lay down. Being in a cool shower can help too, but again sometimes the aftermath of a cool shower (the damp skin and drying process) is just too much to handle.
I use THC gummies and OTC pain meds, but I'm very new at this. I hate the burning- I'm sorry you're going through this.
