Maybe this is more of me just getting it off my mind, but here it goes. I hate that it seems like I'm the only one in my friend group that either doesn't have a boyfriend or never will. I do have friends that have never even gone on dates (whereas I was on 2 before I got my heart broken), but they've gotten dates to school dances. I feel like because I'm fat and ugly, no guy of substance will ever look at me and like me. I know there's more to life than guys, but you'd think by my age I would have at least kisses someone . Gosh, maybe I am really that Drew Barrymore movie (Never Been Kissed). All guys ever seem to see us my size, or they ignore me because unlike other girls I'm not throwing myself out there trying to drink them under the table. Anywho, I feel hopeless.

Girl, I have BEEN there. It sucks, no doubt! Know that as long as you put yourself out there, someone WILL want to treat you like you deserve, like a QUEEN! It may not come as soon as you like, but trust me, you're fine as you are!! Everybody has different metabolism and genetics. I know you're beautiful, I don't need to see you. Your anxiety is telling you you're not: don't believe it! Confide in your friends and family; they'll tell you the same! Enjoy the now, and you'll find your future ❤️❤️

It sucks to feel lonely and left out. I remember going on a bad date and afterward thinking no one would ever love me. I am in a healthy relationship now. It can take time. But the truth is, guys of substance will love you for who you are. In the mean time, I found it very helpful to focus on taking care of myself, building my confidence and my relationship with God, taking care of my health, finding things I enjoy doing, and making friends. The right kind of guy will love to see you happy, confident, and enjoying your own life (and also support you through feelings of insecurity).
