      My first outbreak was the worst but I am on antivirals everyday and it helps minimize the outbreaks so I rarely get them now and they aren't as bad

      I am older and afraid of trying to have a relationship again. I have been married 3 times and divorced 3 times. I don't want to cause anyone else to get herpes. 2 of my 3 husband's have it. But I always tell them before we have sex of any kind.

      I found out in recent years that it is just something that affects most of my immediate family. I had the worst mouth sores when I was younger. I think it was just family germs that spread it. I never knew my mom had the fu on genital outbreaks until I was 31 and had my first genital outbreak, saw a doc and then told her about it. So, I wasn't aware it was herpes until then. She treated herself with essential oils and alternative medicine unsuccessfully. I took pills and am free of any symptoms now. I occasionally get cold sores still when I'm stressed or lacking sleep, but that's all.

      Hi! I have both hsv 1 and 2. But I only get outbreaks when I shave pubic area
