I’ve recently been diagnosed with endometriosis but the gynaecologist has advised me to lose weight before my surgery but I just want some advice how to do this as currently struggling?

I should lose weight, but I am overweight and still had a lap no problem! It’s not a necessity unless it directly impacts your healing process, which I highly doubt. Get a second opinion.

Hi! So I was very much overweight when I had my surgery. Losing weight helps but isn’t a requirement by any means for endo surgery, so I recommend a second opinion as well. Is this doctor an excision specialist? If not then definitely seek one out. If you do want to lose weight, I’m currently down 40 pounds, feel free to message me and I can share what I’ve been doing!
