Struggling with Chronic Migraines and Unresponsive Doctor

Hey tikldpink, it sounds like you and your doctor are not on the same page here. I believe that it’s important to have a common language with your doctor, and if you feel like you don’t have that with him, maybe switching to another one is your solution? We are all deserve physicians who are emphatic and compatible, and if that’s not the case, I think that might be for the best

Are there any specific new treatments that you thought would help? anyway, I believe the most important thing in the process is finding a doctor you trust and feel comfortable with, in the long run. I have started using aimovig monthly as well as nurtec. It has helped me a great deal with my migraines because covid exacerbated my used to be controlled migraines into something uncontrollable and debilitating.
