Is there any point in telling your parents what they did wrong? I love my mother but she made some mistakes while raising me. Part of me wants to point it out but the other part doesn't want her to feel worse than she already does. I don't know what I would even gain from telling her what she did wrong

      Yes, but it is not for them. You tell them for you and no one else.... otherwise it's all for not. They don't have to listen, they don't have to understand, they don't even need to apologize. You need to put it out in the universe and they just need to hear it. Then, you work on moving on. It's hard but it is a first step.
