So I’ve been on amitriptyline 50mg since November. I was put on it for vulvodynia initially but in the last two months I’m going through a really sudden breakup and have immense depression. I don’t feel like the medication is helping at all for the depression. I also was on buspar 20mg that wasn’t helping so my dr advised me to stop and now I’m on nothing for anxiety. I’m starting to feel like my brain just doesn’t work. I don’t understand why meds aren’t helping.
