Just started taking buspirone twice a day for my panic attacks and anxiety. I think it’s going well but I know it’ll take a while for my body to get used to it and start to notice a difference. How do you handle panic attacks and face flushing in the meanwhile? I was also prescribed hydroxycine for intense panic attacks but I hear it knocks you out lol and I can’t take that while at work

I'm currently on 10 MG of that twice a day. I could definitely tell a difference once it fully started kicking in.

@kay3 Right! And then you become way too aware of it and then it (for me) increases the panic attack

I haven't started on anything so I'm not much help. But that's great its helping you. Have you always had the face flushing? Mine get so bad its embarrassing

@kay3 in the past it would happen occasionally but within the past two weeks it’s been like an everyday thing and that’s why I finally went back to the doctors and told her all my symptoms and she prescribed my meds. I’m hoping 🤞 once they fully start working/kick in it’ll go down. My cheeks are naturally a little red all the time, it’s just been mega amplified and yes it can be embarrassing at times 🤦🏻‍♀️ so I feel you on that. It’s the worst when someone points it out
