Is this associated with any other symptoms such as lightheaded/dizzy, nausea, dry mouth, sweating, shortness of breath, or your heart beating fast? If so, that could be a sign of a vasovagal reaction and pre-syncope. Vasovagal is our fight or flight mechanism which can be triggered by anxiety. It can cause your heart to beat faster with adrenaline. Sometimes that can cause a drop in blood pressure which can lead to fainting. Pre-syncope is when your body is near the fainting threshold and can cause cotton or ringing in the ears, vision black outs, and the above symptoms. Once the body is able to relax the symptoms fade away.
