Zoloft not working after a month, what to do?

hii! so i have crippling anxiety (panic attacks all day) and severe depressive mood swings from Bipolar 2. i started zoloft 100mg in december 2021, and it worked beautifully for a month! i felt like i was unable to experience panic attacks, and i could actually get up in the morning. however, come mid-late january, the medication slowly stopped working, to the point where it stopped altogether. has anyone else experienced this with SSRI’s? i increased my dose to 150mg and i’m starting to feel better again, definitely hypomanic, but i can’t help but worry that my relief is temporary. searching online i could only find that zoloft can stop working after several years, not just a month. i think it sucks that 100mg isn’t strong enough, but 150mg makes me manic. help!? (125mg maybe ???) any advice on the effectiveness of SSRI’s/zoloft and if it’s wearing off for anyone would be helpful!!

hi, after being diagnosed with GAD in 2011 (when i was about 6) i got prescribed zoloft. zoloft in my personal opinion is almost always used as an umbrella drug so to speak. meaning it makes you feel really really good for a short period, but after a bit, you decline. SSRI’s can be very good, but mood stabilizers are often a good often also.

i am not. i’ve taken antipsychotics (caused mania and amnesia) and anticonvulsants (which caused SJS and almost killed me)

Are you on any mood stabilizers?
