Zoloft causing depression? Need advice!

I started Zoloft 4 weeks ago for trauma, depression and anxiety and I was feeling amazing until these last few days and now I’m so depressed and I have cried all day today. Has anyone else had this experience with Zoloft and does it get better? I need positivity because I don’t want to feel this way

Do you have a menstrual cycle? I would definitely tell your doctor if it doesn't clear up within a week or so. I was on Zoloft for a while to manage suicidal depression that came with my monthly cycle.

My sister takes Zoloft. After a while, she felt like it wasn’t helping much. Her doctor upped the dosage, and I think it’s working for her now. It might just be that you need a higher dosage, especially if you started it recently because doctors usually start small and adjust the dosage as needed.

Women need 11.5 cups of water a day that should help I read somewhere that listening too sad songs while you're depressed can help stabilize your mood other ways too cope are wine or weed (cannibas) can help alot of times our physical health plays a part and how we feel I've been drinking the suggested amounts of water for men which is 15.5 and it helps me too feel stable it might take 1-4 days for you too see a difference but water definitely helps me feel better emotionally physically and mentally alot of times we over look the simple things most people don't get the amount of water they should have I had problems with not getting the basic needs met like food and water and sleep I'm still struggling but I'm getting better at meeting my basic needs doing these things will make you stronger the main thing I think is too find things you like too do too help you cope once you find what works for you it you should feel alot better Alotta times people try too rob you of self love but spending your time doing things you enjoy helps you feel better you just gotta figure out what that is if you have questions or need more feedback you can reply and I'll answer hope this helps hope you feel better

I’m currently taking sertraline which is the generic for Zoloft. I been taking it since October and I have not felt depressed. I do get sad, but it’s only sometimes. I say keep taking it and see how you feel. Maybe it takes a while to work. It been working for me. But if you continue to feel sad and depressed then talk to your doctor. I hope you feel better
