Daydreaming is also an important coping mechanism for me so I feel you. These types of meds do feel give and take and vary for each person. How long have you been taking it? I like to cry and daydream before bed to get my emotions out and it was harder to cry when I started taking it. But over time I can cry pretty normally again so there’s a chance it may get better! I’ve been taking it for almost a year I think

for me this is literally day 2, I kin a lot of characters and often maladaptive daydream being them, so it kind of sucks there's this sudden disconnect now :( I'd argue that the maladaptive daydreaming helped a lot with my creative process as an artist too but heck I think I can maybe be okay without it.. mental health comes first ❤️
