I'm currently on zoloft. It does help. It's like the panic hits a wall. I have noticed I go with the flow more and have a "meh. I don't care" attitude. It's helped me take steps in the right direction.

I've been on it for about 6 years. For me, it's been a life changer. I feel so much more stable and more like myself, or at least- more like the person I want to be. Only issue I've had with Zoloft is the fact it makes me feel slightly mentally slower, like not as sharp or observant as I used to be. Although I'd rather experience that than deal with the severe panic all the time. So other than that, no side effects so far over 6 years.

I tried it and immediately had to go to the hospital. I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t take the SSRIs that they wanted to give me. I had an independent test done for brain chemical levels and my levels of Serotonin were already way too high which can lead to Serotonin Syndrome. Most psychiatrists don’t test your brain chemical levels and just prescribe the medicine so if you take it and something feels off then it could be. I hope that this information helps you to understand the pros and cons, nothing really helped me with my issue and I’m trying some alternate methods now for help

I've been on it for 15 years or so. It has been the best one for me. I haven't noticed any side effects, and I take 50 to 100 per day depending on how I feel.
